In 1811, Charles Gabriel de Cazanove founded his own Champagne House in Avize.In 1958, the company found itself under the influence of Martini & Rossi. From 1983, the company had been under the control of the Moët – Hennessy Group. Maison Charles de Cazanove was bought out in 2004 and has become the flagship of G.H. Martel Champagne Group., 5th largest Champagne group worldwide.
