Cynar

Cynar is an artichoke based bitter sweet liquor known for its versatility and distinctive flavor, which is enriched by a secret recipe of the infusion of 13 herbs and plants. Cynar was created by Angelo Dalle Molle, a Venetian entrepreneur and philanthropist, and was launched in Italy in 1952. Since then the brand has grown and it’s now distributed internationally. The most characteristic among them are artichoke leaves from which the name of the drink derives (Cynar scolymus is the botanic definition of artichoke). Cynar is in dark amber-brown with reddish tones with typical herbal complex rounded by bittersweet notes, gently alcoholic. Cynar is a bittersweet liquid that carries peculiar herbal notes, including artichoke memories, married with dried fruit hints rounded by caramel smoothness. After Taste: Pleasantly persistent woody and caramel bitter taste.
