Kurayoshi

Matsui-Shuzo, a Japanese manufacturer of whiskey, shochu and sake, was established in Japan on March 29, 1910, and is located in Kawaramachi, Kurayoshi, and Tottori Prefecture. The company's director is Ms. Kaoru Matsui. The marketing office is located in Nansen, Kita-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka Prefecture. The main ingredients of the whiskey at Matsui distllery are spring water from Kurayoshi and most of the barley. After malt fermentation, the whiskey in distilled liquor is distilled twice in a copper distillation pot and then loaded into oak barrels to be stored in its own warehouse. After aging, join the spring water as well as bottling. Located in the center of Tottori prefecture in the west side of Japan. The city of water and greenery with abundant spring water from Daisen and lots of nature with lttle population makes Kurayoshi the perfect environment for making whisky.
