Even thought full of rich nutrition, Cranberry was only used for agricultural production of fruit and fruit sauce in early age. As the profit gained from cranberry planting became less and less stable, the economic trouble became the biggest impediment for cranberry planting. Driven by love for cranberry and sympathy for farmers, the three fruit farmers--Marcus Urann, John Makepeace, and Elisabeth Lee, establish the first cranberry marketing cooperative, Ocean Spray, in 1930. Ocean Spray not only unites fruit farmers to seek for a way out, but also successfully creates an new Ocean Spray cranberry juice that can be found in everywhere for all seasons. Nowadays, this juice not only is seen as the classical taste that stands for Ocean Spray, but also makes Ocean Spray become the biggest brand around the world and introduces Ocean Spray to the world quickly, so that more people can enjoy the healthy benefit from cranberry.
